Additional Information

  • Varies per fund (up to 90% covered).*

  • When an appointment is scheduled, that time is dedicated to you and your therapy. If you need to cancel or change an appointment, we will do our best to accommodate your schedule. In this instance, we kindly ask for you to provide at least 48 hours notice, so that we can schedule another client in your place.

If less than 48 hours notice is given (72 hours for Monday appointments), we will still make every attempt to reschedule you at a more convenient time, but you will be charged for the cancellation if we are unable to fill your appointment slot. All cancellations without providing 48 hours’ notice or non-attendance at the time scheduled for your appointment will attract a $110 cancellation fee.

Please note that you cannot claim the Medicare rebate for a missed session.

  • Medicare offers rebates for Psychological Therapy Services when you have an eligible Mental Health Treatment Plan (MHCP) prepared by a GP.

You can book your psychologist appointment in advance however it is essential to bring a referral letter from a GP to process the rebate.

To allow the rebate to be submitted straight to your account, please bring a Saving / Cheque bank card to your appointment. Alternatively, you will be issued with a receipt to present to Medicare directly for the rebate.

  • Our psychologists are registered with all major health insurers.

Claims can be processed using HICAPS if your coverage has the Psychological Services extras included. A receipt will be provided for your reference.
